Last weekend was my grandpa's funeral. It so nice to see all my family. It has been awhile since we have all been home together. The funeral service turned out really nice and was a wonderful tribute to my grandpa. While we were all there we had to snap a few family pictures.

I am so thankful to have had such an amazing and loving grandpa. I can't remember a ball game my grandpa wasn't there cheering me on. He always supported me in anything I was doing. I love him so much and excited for the day I see him again.

Why is it so hard to get a good family picture. It is about impossible at our house. Kaige hates pictures like his dad and Brooklyn is just, well a baby. Anyway, Sunday I really wanted a picture of my family and this was the best we could do.
Nick had a great idea to build a hut in the living room and all sleep in it. (sounds fun huh) Nick was taping blankets to the ceiling fan and the table and couches, he had chairs and my broom and all sorts of stuff to make this masterpiece. Macee was so impressed she ran up stairs and said,"Mom come look, DAD IS A FORT BUILDER." We all ended up in our beds but it was FUN!!!!!

Nick and I had our 7 year anniversary last week while we were at Disneyland. Thanks Nick for being such an amazing husband I LOVE YOU!!!!

We had the best time ever at Disneyland and Sea world. I didn't think it could get much better than seeing my kids get so excited about Shamu the dolphins and sharks, but Disneyland was just as great. We spent one day at Sea world then drove to Disneyland for the rest of the week. We spent Sunday through Thursday at Disneyland. The weather was great, not too hot, and the rides were so much fun. We would be there in the morning when it opened so we could get right on all the rides. It was great. Then we usually went back to our motel and swam for awhile then went back to Disneyland later on in the day. Macee turned six while we were there. She had a great birthday!! They gave her a gift certificate to spend and a big pin that said "It's my birthday". She got treated so great all day. She even got to open up the park. We counted down from ten and let everyone in. Brooklyn could even go on most of the rides so it was great!!! I wish we could afford to go more often it was WONDERFUL. We went down to the beach one day and played. The kids loved playing in the sand. the water was cold but they liked to play in it anyway. It was so much fun to go on a vacation with Nick's whole family!!

Kaige's B-Day is today. We had a fun day!! He loved his bike and his other fun little presents. He wanted a chocolate cake and I put a bunch of little cars all over it. He was so excited to see it this morning. He spent the day ridding his bike, shooting hoops, and playing outside on the tramp. We love him so much!! He is such a goof and has quite the personality. Notice at the end of singing Happy Birthday he says,"That's enough, that's enough." He is such a hoot. Happy Birthday Kaige. We love you!!!!

I went out to diner with my friends for Becky's birthday. There was a guy making balloon animals. I knew Macee and Kaige would absolutely love some Ninja Turtles!!! Macee was so excited all night and of course Kaige pretty much had his ripped apart before bed.

Macee looking cool with Leo! Sorry Kaige is having a little crotch grab. He needed to go to the bathroom. Actually I don't know if he had to go or not. He just likes to hang onto it. I guess it's just a boy thing!!!

We started the 4th of July weekend camping at Fish Lake. We had so much fun and our kids love to camp. We really need to do it more often. Then on Friday we went back to Richfield for a Blackham family reunion. After that we hit the seven o clock movie THE ICE AGE. It was really cute and our kids loved the dinosaurs. Saturday morning we went to the parade with Nick's family and caught a lot of candy. It was so hot the kids were hiding behing our chairs for a little shade. Of course after the parade we had to go to the park for the games and cotton candy!! Nick went golfing then we had a fun BBQ. It was a lot of fun to hang out with Nick's family for the 4th.

Macee had her first T-Ball game yesterday. She had so much fun. Her team is the PIRATES and that doesn't get any better for Macee. She could hit the ball like a champ but ran all the way to home passing her teammates on the way. We really need to work on that concept for next week. Those little five year olds are so fun to watch. I was laughing the whole time!!!
